The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Fairfax, VA

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring and protecting people, property, and information

Incumbents within this group perform such tasks as developing and implementing organizational programs and processes that assess security risks, protecting company assets and employees, and ensuring compliance with applicable government and company regulations

Position Responsibilities: Oversees mentorship of security individuals Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations and requirements Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action, and communicates results to security management and customers Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations and requirements Conducts Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (including inventory, distribution and destruction), in compliance with government regulations and requirements Protects government, intellectual, third party, and company information from unauthorized disclosures Develops, implements, and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations and requirements on large and complex programs Leads and performs Personnel Security team and processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances and access for complex customer requirements Establishes and implements a security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations and requirements Performs Sub-Contractor Management to ensure compliance with government regulations and requirements Participates, as requested, in the enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years 5 years of experience in Industrial Security Experience working in a classified environment Experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree, military experience, or equivalent work experience 5 years of experience working with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) 5 years of experience communicating with internal and external customers Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
