Overview Gallagher is seeking an experienced Loss Adjuster to join our team and provide professional loss adjusting advice and services to our clients

In this role, you will communicate openly and accurately with insurers and other stakeholders to expedite the claims process while maintaining exceptional customer service standards

This is a remote based role, with coverage across the Home Counties and London

How you’ll make an impact Claims Management: Working from a home base you will manage a caseload of predominantly domestic claims on a day-to-day basis, including traveling to loss sites to investigate claims

Provide critical support to policyholders throughout the claims process

Technical Expertise: Assist internal teams with technical claims and provide advice as required

Assess claims in line with policy conditions and compile detailed reports with recommendations on liability

Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with insurers, underwriters, and colleagues as necessary to ensure smooth claims handling

Conduct formal (remove) interviews with claimants, including investigating fraudulent claims (remove), and compile detailed reports on findings

Validation and Recovery: Acquire reports from third parties, such as building surveyors, to validate items claimed

Manage recovery actions against third parties where applicable

About You Progressing towards professional qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential

Proven knowledge of loss adjuster policies, practices, and procedures

Strong understanding of personal lines/household insurance products and services

Exceptional customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and a pragmatic approach

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to ensure customer satisfaction
