Essential Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities: Using a sit-down forklift, pull product out of the blast and place it in freezer racks, and load/unload trucks

Use a hand-held scanner to scan the product into the inventory system

Using a wrapping machine, wrap products on pallets to specifications

Ability to work safely at sub-zero temperatures (to -40 F) for periods of up to 2 hours

Must be able to become certified forklift

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Follows all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions & policies

Responsible for maintaining punctual and regular attendance during scheduled work hours

Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate strong leadership skills

Must be able to use basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide). I must be willing and able to meet the physical requirements of the position

Physical Requirements: Standing 8 10 hours per day

Operating powered industrial equipment

Lifting to 50 lbs

Possible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting

Working Conditions/Department Description: May work in a damp and cold environment Work with loud and noisy machinery Work in a dusty environment Work with chemicals or Fumes Job assignments are subject to the supervisors discretion, and job duties may vary from day to day depending on production needs
