Join Our Team as a Consultant in Management Consulting

At Guidehouse, our Energy Providers practice is dedicated to partnering with leaders in the energy and utility sectors to navigate the crucial energy transition. We engage across value chains, crafting decarbonization strategies, and advancing solutions such as renewable generation, green gases, hydrogen, demand response/flexibility, smart grids, and Carbon Capture and Storage along with their necessary infrastructures.

What You Will Do

As a Consultant at Guidehouse, you will work within a team to guide our clients through the challenges and opportunities presented by the energy transition.

  • Engage in projects covering areas like decarbonization pathways for transport, electricity network innovation, and offshore wind development.
  • Conduct industry research, collaborate with stakeholders, and prepare client deliverables.
  • Synthesize data into clear analyses to produce fact-based recommendations and reporting.
  • Assist in developing plans to implement recommended solutions.
  • Contribute to business development through client proposal development and related activities.

You Are

  • Organized with strong data collection and analytical skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects while understanding project objectives and client expectations.

What You Will Need:

  • A relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., engineering, energy, economics, mathematics, international business, physical sciences).
  • 1 year or more of related work experience.
  • Curiosity and/or experience in relevant topics like power systems, renewable energy integration, and sustainability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with additional analytics tools is a plus.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Flexibility to collaborate with teams in our London office and other UK locations as needed.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • A relevant Master’s degree (e.g., engineering, energy, economics, etc.).
  • A willingness to travel internationally.
