The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Design and Analysis Engineer (Electrical Systems Design) Mid-Level, to join Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Saint Louis, MO. BDS is a global leader in the development, production, maintenance and enhancement of fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft, commercial and government satellites, human spaceflight programs and weapons
Key markets include aeronautics, space and weapons
Core capabilities are in development, production and mission enabling upgrades of integrated solutions. BDS delivers the most digitally advanced, simply and efficiently produced and intelligently supported solutions to its customers
The Subsystems Development team has an immediate need for Electrical System designers seeking challenging work
Candidates will participate in requirement development (e.g. (PS) Procurement Specifications), and Source Control Documents (SCD) for aircraft electrical systems on Military Aircraft
The candidate will work on designing electrical schematics and wire harnesses to system requirements
Limited travel will be required, 10% or less
Contingent upon Award: This position is contingent upon award Position Responsibilities: Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
This position is expected to be 100% onsite
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S
Security Clearance for which the U.S
Government requires U.S
Citizenship
An interim and/or final U.S
Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 5 years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3 years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s or work related engineering experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Mentor Capital Secret Clearance Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility
