Job Description
The Continuity of Business Lead Analyst holds a professional role that applies their knowledge of business processes and contributes to the improvement of work-flow for business recovery
They integrate subject matter and industry expertise within defined business areas
Evaluate issues with substantial potential impact and weigh various alternatives, balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information
The role requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate material from multiple sources
Good communication skills are required with ability to produce quality powerpoint and or written materials to help display prblems or progress in resolveing these
Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams
Responsibilities: The Lead Analyst supports Citi’s Enterprise Resilience organization within Technology & Business Enablement
The role of the Senior Analyst is to execute the ER program and support businesses in their annual completion of the program
This will include acting as Lead BRC for Business Continuity Plans in ensuring plans are accurately documented in the ER system of record, Fusion, and tested annually
Produce requirements documentation in both written and diagrammatic form
Data analysis and Excel skills
Business knowledge of documentation type and purpose
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Track record as a strong analyst – recognized as able to deliver work in pressured environments
Hands on approach and able to manage own work load whilst taking direction
Attention to detail and ability to discuss document and confirm process flows
Sufficiently experienced to provide feedback for areas of improvement and realign strategy accordingly
Collaborative approach, must be able to work closely with senior business sponsors and promote consensus decisions that are right for the organization
Flexibility and Autonomy are essential as some travel and out of hours work may be required
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications: Experience of technology project management, data modeling and workflow mapping is preferred Experience working with internal/external audit/regulatory or control groups is preferred
Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation)
