Job Description

Position Description:

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role as a coach and facilitator for our IT squad. Your responsibilities will encompass coaching team members, proactively removing barriers, and facilitating team delivery to achieve sprint goals. Collaborating closely with your team Product Owner and fellow Scrum Masters, you will support Sprint and Release Planning, promote team self-awareness, and encourage cross-training, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

This role is available in one of the following locations: Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

As a successful Scrum Master, you will:

  • Possess a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Manage multiple team project scopes and timelines.
  • Coordinate Scrum Meetings, including retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups.
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
  • Act as the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders).
  • Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and new requests.
  • Resolve conflicts and eliminate obstacles.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
  • Guide development teams to achieve higher scrum maturity.
  • Help create a productive environment where team members take ownership of the product.
  • Communicate status, risks, issues, and/or concerns to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to software and system components.
  • Facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Act as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams on Business as Usual (BAU) work.
  • Adhere to established best practices for the development/design lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain high quality of work.
  • Practice proper business and professional ethics.
  • Maintain a productive work environment.

Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role:

To excel in this position, you should have:

  • BS in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent education.
  • Experience providing technical support for staff and back-end system users.
  • Experience with large-scale program analysis, design, and development.
  • Familiarity with a variety of designs, languages, and methodologies.
  • Experience with system integration projects.
  • Ability to design and improve solutions around Adobe AEM.
  • Experience prototyping interactive interfaces with multiple states and roles.
  • Conduct user testing and report on outcomes.
  • Design consistent interfaces and experiences across multiple devices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI, CD, CT) and associated tech stack.
  • AEM component development, workflow development, and integration with applications and XDP Forms within JEE.
  • Extensive knowledge of coding languages.
  • Experience with databases.
  • Strong collaboration, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and passionate about learning the latest technologies with effective communication skills.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range is contingent on factors including skill set, level of experience, training, and certifications. The current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200 – $169,700.
